Club promoter Mulletover, Finger Lickin' Funk and Furthur Project are to host the Club Tent at Glade Festival 2009. The promoters will join an outstanding cast of live and DJ talent at Glade Festival's new home Matterley Bowl, Winchester, Hampshire on the long weekend of Thursday 16th - 19th July 2009. The new Club Tent continues Glade Festival's policy of picking up what's fresh and happening in club land and blending it with some of its well established names.

Mulletover, Saturday 18th July London underground club night Mulletover headline the Club Tent on Saturday 18th July. Having recently celebrated their fifth birthday, they have a notorious reputation of bringing fun and excitement to club land. The leader in their field, Mulletover scour London in order to find the very best in unusual warehouse spaces giving each of their parties a gritty edge not achieved at mainstream venues. Set up by resident DJ Geddes and promoter Rob Star - who is also the co-owner of DJ Pub The Star of Bethnal Green - Mulletover are the renegades of London's club scene and a perfect fit for Glade Festival's maverick approach. mulletover.co.uk

Mulletover artists Mr C Mr C used to front The Shamen; the techno-rave outfit that scored huge hits and notoriety in the 90s with tracks like 'Ebeneezer Goode'. But Mr C's has a devotion to electronic music and a solid DJ career that sees him playing around the world. He was also one of the co-owners of The End nightclub before it closed down. Jamie Jones East London wideboy Jamie Jones is a DJ and producer. Some of his singles include 'Amazon' on Dan Ghenacia's Freak n Chic label and 'Kaskazi' on Simon Baker's Get Digital label. He is being touted as the future of UK techno - his sound is bouncy and dubby blended with deep house and techno. Jamie is hugely influenced by the Detroit techno sound. Adultnapper Adultnapper is the moniker of Francis Harris, a veteran to the dance music scene and the production artist behind enough records to sink a naval destroyer. As Adultnapper, Harris explores the complex and dark elements of tasteful electronic music, for people who enjoy thinking and dancing. He has enjoyed releases on a plethora of labels including Audiomatique, Dirt Crew, Mule Electronic, Intrinsic Design and SuperFreq, to name a few.

Additionally, Adultnapper is featured exclusively on Ransom Note, a label created by Harris, for Harris, which chronicles a deranged story through each one of its releases. Geddes Stuart Geddes launched Mulletover five years ago with promoter and partner in crime Rob Star. A resident DJ at Mulletover, he spins uncompromised deep, hedonistic electronic music ranging from deep house to techno. Together with Audiofly's Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito he's also one-third of Rekleiner, who have had releases on Moodmusic Connaisseur Superior, Maschine Records and Catwash. Finger Lickin' Funk, Sunday 19th July Glade Festival favourites Finger Lickin' Funk close the Club Tent on Sunday, 19th July. The breakbeat label will be injecting the funk with a DJ set by Soul Of Man, TCR's 'Godfather of Breaks' Rennie Pilgrem, A Skillz, Krafty Kuts, Jemstone and Able Abel. Soul Of Man fingerlickin.co.uk Finger Lickin' Artists Soul of Man are breakbeat funk connoisseurs Justin Rushmore and Jem Panufnik, who also run Finger Lickin' Records (home to high-profile breaks players Plump DJs, Krafty Kuts, A-Skillz, Lee Coombs and The Drumattic Twins). The pair are best known for the singles 'Dirty Waltzer' and 'The Drum' as well as their mix CD series 'Finger Lickin' Thang' and volumes for React '21st Century Breaks' and Distinctive 'Y4K' . Soul of Man also have a lengthy remix CV, handing in rerubs of Jacknife Lee, James Taylor Quartet, Fluke, Dub Pistols and Dreadzone. Rennie Pilgrem Rennie Pilgrem is the godfather of nu skool breaks. He continues to DJ all over the world and blow crowds away with his dancefloor-friendly funk-infused breaks. A Skillz A.Skillz is one of the country's most funky beatmeisters. His fierce production skills and turntable dexterity has seen him explode onto the scene, collaborating with hip-hop legends and making music for worldwide brands.

 Krafty Kuts Krafty Kuts can truly be recognised as a member of the breakbeat elite. And along with other high profile figures such as Adam Freeland, Rennie Pilgrem, Freq Nasty and the Plump DJs, Krafty Kuts has been instrumental in pushing the breakbeat sound to a world-wide audience. Finally, The Furthur Project - a London-based artist management agency, events organisation, and record label, founded in 2008 - open the Club Tent on Friday 17th July. They represent an ever-expanding group of exciting new London-based producers, DJ's, promoters, VJ's, and artists, aiming to provide a platform and a network through which these skills can be propelled into the public domain. Their output is funked-up electronica, from deep, melodic house and groovy, hypnotic techno, through to stripped back minimal, hybrid tech-house and beyond! This year's Glade Festival will go on louder, later and longer than previous years and have a look and feel of Mad Max meets Alice in Wonderland, coupled with surreal 3D installations to create multidimensional otherworldly spaces. There will be specially commissioned festival buses ferrying passengers from most UK cities and a shuttle bus from Winchester train station. Tickets cost a mere £125 (the same price as last year). Glade Festival has extended their limited Student Initiative where students can buy tickets for £100 until 8th May 2009. All tickets include free on-site camping. The Glade Festival won Best Dance Festival at last year's UK Festival Awards and is a 10,000 capacity event, visited by dance music and free spirited aficionados from around the world. The Glade Festival is known as one of Europe's best underground electronic festivals and will celebrate its sixth birthday in 2009 after starting life as part of Glastonbury festival (of which it is still a part of).
